Quiche is a true catch-all. In Europe, for the much richer and daring diner, they sometimes add igredients such as; asparagus, truffles, salmon and even chili and curry – an acquired taste.
Mini quiches are also popular with kids and for picnics, bufffets and even lunch boxes, (though wrap them up carefully in front of real men).
