Artisan Burgers by My Friend Linda at Fabulous Fare Sisters! FABULOUS!! Please Have a Look See for additional amazing fare!!
It’s Burger Night! I was in the mood for something different…something fancy…so I came up with a combination of flavors that hit the spot. Think Applewood smoked bacon, Havarti cheese and Fig jam…doesn’t that sound delicious? Well, it was! And you can make it too…here’s how to do it:
Artisan Burgers
1 lb lean ground beef
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning
1 teaspoon freeze-dried chives (or fresh if you have it)
1 teaspoon salt
8 slices Applewood smoked bacon
8 slices Havarti cheese
1/2 cup Fig spread (Bonne Maman Purple Fig Spread)
4 crusty rolls
4 tablespoons mayonnaise (optional)
8 Arugula leaves (or desired salad greens)
In a medium bowl, mix the ground beef with the seasonings. Set aside while you cook up the bacon nice and crisp.
