I made my first visit to NYC with my babiest daughter a couple of weekends ago and top of my must do list was to go into a noisy deli and shout my order …. I chose corned beef hash with two eggs sunny side, hold the pickle, ketchup on the side and I felt SOOOO proud of myself that I made myself both heard and understood and didn’t trip over a single word! Small pleasures for a tall bird 😉
